I don't care how old I get, I love getting dressed up. I love wearing and shopping for dresses. Dresses eliminate the whole short legs syndrome I've got going on, standing just shy of the five foot mark.
It was so fun taking pictures of Miss J. getting ready for her junior prom. I couldn't help gasping every time I opened up one of her photos to edit. I've known her since she was just a little bit older than Camryn is now. I can't believe how quickly she's grown up!
As for the ballerina-- Camryn was in her first recital recently. I had never been to a dance recital for three to six year olds before. I laughed so hard I cried! Let's just say my kiddo tends to incorporate the dance techniques of Chris Farley and the Disney Princesses into her routine. But seriously, she looked so happy on stage.
And one she likes to call, "psycho ballerina."
